haamro Company Is Launched in Montreal
A group of young Nepalese immigrant from Nepal has just established a company called “haamro – initiative for better future” in Montreal, Quebec on September 11, 2011. There are more than 50 stakeholders in the haamro company.
The company has announced the total initial authorized capital $1,800,000.00 and issued capital $900,000.00 during the launching ceremony. The company has been established with a long term objective of building capital with small savings, involve in broad range of investment/business activities, creating job opportunities and welfare for its shareholders.
A board of directors has also been elected comprising 11 members for 2 years. Mr. Muga Rajbhandari who has been working in a full-service marketing service company for more than 8 years has been chosen as a President. Mr. Prakash Mungrati, a private business owner and researcher of recycling rubber is able to secure Vice-president. Mr. Navin Gotame and Mr. Deepak Shrestha, expert in small business of its kind have been chosen as Director – Administration and Director - Finance respectively. Mr. Iswor Raj Chalise, Mr. Rishi Shrestha, Mr. Subash K. C. Mr. Balmukunda Maharjan, Mr. Suman Lamsal, Mr. Hemanta Dahal, Mr. Hom Lamichhane, all well-known figures in their field have been chosen as board members.
According to haamro board of directors the company will initially focus on small investment then move on to small and medium sized business gradually.
