NRN Canada's First Newsletter - 3 North American Candidates

October 3, 2009

NRN Canada recently published it’s first Newsletter “Nava-Sandesh” covering it’s overall activities.

“The primary objective of projecting Nava–Sandesh in front of you is to build a strong communication linkage among Nepalis living in Canada, Nepal and all over the world. We aim to achieve this remarkable goal by establishing NAVA-SANDESH as a platform for exchanging news and views among Nepalis around the globe. We are confident that ideas shared in this podium will help in creating many candles that cast some light into the dark corners of Nepal for the betterment of Nepal and Nepalis. In addition, we hope that bringing feelings of all Nepalis into a single spot will provide strength and encouragement to sustain Nepalese culture in Nepalese hearts scattered over many different parts of the world.” Dr. Naveen K. Vaidya, Editor of the Nava-Sandesh stated in his editorial note.

The newsletter contains various topics including - Epidemic Diarrhea Control in Nepal: NRN Canada’s; Initiative on the Pipeline, Interview with Dr. Upendra Mahato; Himalayan Mela in Toronto; Connecting to Roots Program (C2RP) – Annual Appeal 2009; Upcoming NRNA-ICC Election: Candidates from North America; NRNA 4th Global Conference 2009.
